Post by NeonVoyager »

MLB The Show 26 steps up its broadcast game with an expanded commentary roster. Whether you’re playing a franchise season, Diamond Dynasty, or exploring historical and collegiate modes, the game now has dedicated voices to match every experience.

1. Main Broadcast Team (Standard MLB Games & Franchise)

For regular exhibition games and franchise play, the familiar duo returns:

Jon "Boog" Sciambi (Play-by-Play): The energetic heart of the broadcast. Boog delivers smooth, high-energy play-by-play for every pitch, hit, and home run, keeping the excitement alive throughout the game.

Chris "Singy" Singleton (Color Commentator): Provides in-depth situational analysis alongside Boog. He breaks down batting approaches, defensive alignments, and tactical insights that make each matchup feel realistic.

2. Specialized & Mode-Specific Commentators

MLB The Show 26 introduces mode-specific commentary to give each game type its own flavor.

Jessica Mendoza (Color Commentator – Road to the Show): Jessica focuses on amateur and NCAA gameplay. She appears during the Road to the Show mode and simulated College World Series segments, offering tips, insights, and context on rising stars and collegiate competition.

Robert "RoFlo" Flores (Lead Analyst – Diamond Dynasty): RoFlo is the dedicated voice for competitive online modes, including Ranked, Battle Royale, and Diamond Quest. His commentary dives into card series updates, meta strategies, and player stats. The game includes over 100 hours of RoFlo dialogue. Players who prefer the classic broadcast can switch back to Boog and Singy in Settings.

Bob Kendrick (Narrator – Storylines): Returning as the historical narrator, Kendrick guides players through Storylines Season 4. His voice adds a documentary feel, highlighting Negro League legends like Mamie "Peanut" Johnson, Mule Suttles, John Henry "Pop" Lloyd, and Roy Campanella.
