CLS 550 air suspension collapsed on one side overnight, anyone fixed this without replacing everything?

Walked out to my driveway this morning and my 2015 CLS 550 was sitting lopsided like it had a flat tire, except the tire was fine and the whole driver's side rear was tucked way up into the wheel well, started the car and the compressor kicked on and after a minute it raised back up but now I'm just waiting for it to happen again in a more inconvenient location like the middle of a busy intersection. I had a buddy with an E Class who went through this and the dealer told him he needed both rear struts and a new compressor at some astronomical cost, but he ended up taking it to an independent shop that just rebuilt the leaking strut and replaced a relay and he's been fine for two years. I was looking around for a similar shop here in Dubai and I ended up on www.royalprinceautocare.com/service/mercedes-suspension-repair which seems to list all the common Airmatic failure points and suggests they can do the rebuilds instead of just swapping entire assemblies, but I'm wondering if anyone on here has actually had their Merc's air suspension repaired locally instead of replaced and if it held up over time. I'm not trying to be cheap but I also don't want to throw four thousand dirhams at a problem that could be fixed for a fraction of that with a proper diagnosis. Anyone else been through this with their CLS or E Class and come out the other side without a massive repair bill?
